On the way to the south coast you will get 6 days filled with the highlights from this beautiful country: Dambulla, Sigiriya, Kandy, train ride in the highlands, Ella, Yala and Galle Fort.
The last days you can enjoy relaxing on the beach, or surf, dive and explore Hikkaduwa.

This is a private tour – meaning it can start on any date you select to arrive in Sri Lanka. Transport, hotels, meals, sights and entrance fee is included in this 10 days tour. You will stay at our selected hotels known for good service, location and facilities. (3 – 4 start hotels) Breakfast and dinner included at the hotels.
Tour Program:
The driver will meet you at the airport at the time of your arrival to Sri Lanka. (Or at a hotel nearby the next morning if your arrival is by evening/night)
It is a 4 hours drive north to Dambulla, where you can visit the interesting Cave Temple.

In the early morning you will climb to the top on the spectacular Lions Rock in Sigiriya. The driver will then take you to Kandy – the historically important place in Sri Lanka, where you will spend two nights in a nice hotel. There is an option to stop on the way to visit a Spice garden.
🚌 3 hours drive from Dambulla to Kandy.

Visit to the famous “tooth temple” in Kandy and the Botanical Garden or Traditional Kandyan dance show. You will also have plenty of time to explore the town, and maybe to some shopping?

Train ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya: a picturesque journey amongst mountains and tea plantations. Lunch at a restaurant overlooking the lake in Nuwara Eliya, and visit a tea plantation factory.

🚌 2 hours drive from Nuwara Eliya to Ella.

Hike to the top of “Little Adams Peak” in Ella in the morning. Then the driver will show you Rawana Water Falls, before leaving the highland and drive down south to Tissamaharana.
🚌 2 hours drive from Ella to Yala.
🏨 Chandrika Hotel – Yala.
🍽️ Dinner included in the hotel in Yala.
Early morning safari in Yala National Park, where you have the chance to spot the leopard, elephants and a variety of wild life.
Then a stopover in the Old Dutch Fort in Galle, before arriving At Ease Beach Hotel in Hikkaduwa.
